These Mahjong classes offer a deep dive into the architecture of the game. We cover everything from the Charleston to card navigation and basic etiquette. You’ll leave with the confidence to sit at any table and the skills to actually know why you’re playing that tile.

You know the rules; now it’s time to play the game. If you’re tired of being the last one to finish your Charleston or second-guessing your hand, this is your next step.  

In this class, we move beyond what is a bam & into the tactical side of the game. Here, you will learn Mahjong strategies that focus on increasing your speed of play, recognizing hands faster, and mastering the art of the defensive discard. We’re turning your thinking time into winning time.

You know how to play, but you still want a safety net when the Charleston gets messy or you're stuck between two hands. Think of this two-hour session as "Open Play with a coach in your corner" where you can play Mahjong in a relaxed setting. There is no formal curriculum or lecture here—you are playing live games, but a pro is floating around the room to audit your rack, talk through tricky defensive discards, and help you make the pivot when your hand falls apart.
