Creating Connection
I became a mom at a young age. Back then, I didn't have a roadmap. More than anything, I wanted to connect with my kids in a way that I never experienced growing up. Fast forward to today, and I am a proud mom in a beautifully chaotic blended family with six amazing kids.
As any parent knows, finding ways to truly connect with your children as they grow can feel like chasing a moving target. In a world full of screens, busy schedules, and separate rooms, I found myself constantly looking for something we could all share. That’s where Mahjong came into my life, and everything changed. Teaching my kids to play wasn't just about passing down a game; it was about building a tradition, a shared language, and a safe space to laugh and just be together.
My Mission
I didn’t start The Gilded Bam Mahjong just to teach people how to read a card or match suits. I started it because I know how deeply we all crave real, authentic human connection.
I teach kids because I want to help you create those same unforgettable moments with your own kids. I want to help you build a family game night that they actually look forward to—one where they are using their brains, testing their strategies, and making memories that will outlast any screen time.
